Where Tawḥīd Shapes Thoughts and Actions

Tawhidtalk explores contemporary challenges in education, family, society, and everyday life through an Islamic worldview. The blog seeks to connect what we learn and experience with our understanding of Tawḥīd, the unifying concept of monotheism in Islam.

The posts are organized around the four divinely assigned tasks of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ: Tilawah (Awareness), Tazkiyah (Purification), Taʿlim (Knowledge Connection), and Hikmah (Deep Dives). Together, these four areas provide a framework for reform of the Muslim individual and societies.

Tilawah (Awareness)

Raising awareness of contemporary issues and challenges from a Tawḥīdic lens.

Tazkiyah (Purification)

Encouraging correction, realignment, and positive action.

Ta’lim (Knowledge Connection)

Connecting us to guidance from the Qur’an and Sunnah.

Hikmah (Deep Dives)

Actioning topics through deeper research, investigation (experiential knowledge), and interdisciplinary connections.
